1 Frying pan
1 Medium bowl
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup mixed fresh herbs (parsley, oregano, thyme) or 1 tsp each dried
- 1/2 cup goat cheese sliced
- 1/3 cup sundried tomatoes chopped into fine slices
- 6 pieces fresh basil
In a medium bowl, mix together ground turkey with the herbs. Divide in half.
On a large plate, make patties with half of the ground turkey mixture (about 6-8 depending on how big you like them).
Place goat cheese on top. Then sundried tomatoes, then basil.
Make patties with the other half of the ground turkey. Lay on top of the basil. Smooth the edges of the patties out using your hands.
Over medium heat, fry burgers in a frying pan with a bit of avocado oil, about 5 minutes. Flip and cover with lid. Cook another 5-8 minutes.
Serve hot.
