Equipment

  • 1 High speed blender
  • 1 large smoothie glass

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1 lime juiced (or 1.5 Tbsp bottled)
  • 1.5 cup unsweetened almond milk or other non-dairy milk
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds optional

Instructions

  • In a high speed blender, add all ingredients. Blend on high until smooth.
  • Pour into a large smoothie glass. Drink immediately.

Notes

Substitute fresh strawberries for frozen. If you use fresh strawberries, add 3-4 ice cubes to the blender.
Substitute kale for spinach. You may need to add a touch of maple syrup or monk fruit sweetener to overcome the bitter taste of the kale.
If you have a sweet tooth or you are feeding this smoothie to a child, add 1 Tbsp (or more) of maple syrup.
Smoothie tastes best if it is consumed right away.
