Simple Peach Crumble

Today we're making a flourless peach crumble with no refined sugars. A nice treat during the short peach season. Serve warm with or without a scoop of ice cream :)

Equipment

  • Oven
  • 1 8x8 baking dish
  • 1 peeler tool

Ingredients

  • 4 cups peaches (4-5 depending on size of peach) peeled and cut into bite sized pieces
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup pecan pieces optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  • To prepare the peaches, peel the skin off and cut the flesh around the pit. Dice into bite sized pieces.
  • Transfer peaches to the baking dish. Add maple syrup, lemon juice and cinnamon. Stir with a wooden spoon to mix ingredients in.
  • Sprinkle the almond flour on top. Add 1/4 cup pecan pieces (optional).
  • Bake 35 minutes. Top should be golden brown.
  • Serve warm.
