Apple Cinnamon Smoothie

Today we're making a smoothie with a chopped apple, protein powder and cinnamon. No added sugar. Very high in potassium.

Equipment

  • 1 blender
  • 1 smoothie glass

Ingredients

  • 1 Honeycrisp apple (or similar) cored and roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 scoop protein powder I used LeanFit Protein Powder
  • 1.5 cup almond milk

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients in a blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into smoothie glass. Enjoy right away.

Notes

Substitute a banana or 2 heaping tbsp peanut butter for protein powder.
