Beef & Cabbage with Spices

This is an easy dinner idea that comes together in minutes. Great for when you have lots of cabbage in the fridge to use up. Healthy and delicious.

Equipment

  • 1 Frying pan
  • 1 wooden spoon

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage

Instructions

  • Over medium heat, add 1 tbsp olive oil. Saute onion about 2 minutes.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned. About 5-7 minutes.
  • Mix in spices.
  • Add cabbage and cook until it's tender.

Notes

Substitute raw coleslaw in a bag in place of shredded cabbage.
Add matchstick carrots for some colour.
