Preheat oven to 350 F.
Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk tahini, egg, sweetener and vanilla.
Add almond flour, 1/2 cup at a time, stirring with a wooden spoon to incorporate.
Add spices and use wooden spoon to mix in.
Use an ice scream scoop to scoop the dough, using your clean hands to roll into nice balls.
Place each ball on the prepared sheet with space between each one.
Press down with your hand or a fork to flatten.
Sprinkle tops with slivered almonds (optional).
Bake about 20 minutes. Edges should be lightly browned.
