Today, I am making very simple dogs treats for Cashew, my 2 and a half year old Golden Retriever. She loves them! Made with peanut butter, gluten free oats and an eggs, they are healthy and most importantly they don’t have any flour, sugar or preservatives in them. I used silicone dog treat molds that I found on Amazon.
Store bought dog treats have come a long way and there are alot of healthy options out there. But you have to be a conscious consumer because alot of dog treats are just plain old junk food. Be sure to read labels and don’t be fooled by marketing statements on the packaging.
These simple dog treats are quick to make, inexpensive and your dog will love them!
These treats are gluten free (be sure to use gluten free oats), sugar free, dairy free, and have no fillers. If your dog is sensitive to egg, substitute with half a ripe banana.
I hope your dog enjoys them as much as mine does!
