I hope you’ll try my super simple and delicious Peanut Butter & Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies. Peanut butter and banana? Sounds weird, but trust me, it works. These cookies are made with only 3 simple ingredients- natural peanut butter, a ripe banana and chocolate chips.
This is a great recipe for those that have to avoid egg. No egg is needed for these cookies.
Cookies should ALWAYS be made in a home kitchen, not a factory. If you want to eat a cookie- go ahead! but be sure to make it yourself.
Today’s store bought cookie is nothing but ultra-processed junk. Cookies used to be made with simple ingredients. Even if they were full of sugar they were still much healthier than any cookie made in a factory today. The modern factory made, store bought cookie has at least 20 ingredients- and you wouldn’t find 90% of the ingredients in your own personal kitchen. They are almost always made with refined flours, multiple types of sugars (everything from rice syrups, corns syrups, glucose-fructose, white sugar, brown sugar, and the list goes on and on…) toxic seed oils (canola or soybean oil, hydrogenated palm oils), plus there are the food additives that are known to cause gut inflammation and stimulate appetite.
These Peanut Butter & Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies have only 2 tsp of sugar cookie.
These cookies are not only gluten free, they are egg free, dairy free (be sure to use dairy free chocolate chips), but full of taste!

Peanut Butter & Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies
Equipment
-
1 large sheet pan
Ingredients
- 1 large very ripe banana (the riper the better!)
- 1 cup natural peanut butter
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350 F.
-
Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
-
In a medium bowl, add banana and mash with a fork.
-
Add peanut butter and chocolate chips. Stir with a wooden spoon to mix ingredients.
NOTE: If your batter is super runny, you may want to add 3-4 tbsp of almond, coconut flour or tapioca flour so that your cookies stick together. This will only be necessary if your peanut butter is overly runny.
-
Use an ice cream scoop or large spoon to portion out cookies. You should get about 6 cookies.
-
Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes. They’re ready when the edges start to set and look lightly golden. For a firmer cookie, bake to 15 minutes.
-
Allow cookies to cool before eating.
