This is an easy dinner idea that comes together in minutes. Ground beef, onion and cabbage stir-fried with oregano and cinnamon. Great for when you have lots of cabbage to use up or don’t have a lot of time. Don’t like chopping cabbage? Buy a bag of raw coleslaw and use that. Add matchstick carrots for some added colour. Healthy and delicious. Gluten and grain free, DF, low carb.

Store leftovers in a tight glass container. Must be refrigerated. Must be eaten within 5 days. Â
Beef & Cabbage with Spices
Equipment
- 1 Frying pan
- 1 wooden spoon
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion diced
- 500 grams ground beef
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
Instructions
- Over medium heat, add 1 tbsp olive oil. Saute onion about 2 minutes.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. About 5-7 minutes.
- Mix in spices.
- Add cabbage and cook until it's tender.
