As soon as the weather gets nice, we grill a lot of burgers on the BBQ. Sometimes it’s nice to mix things up and have more interesting condiments than plain old ketchup and mustard. Today, I’m making a really easy Caesar Salad inspired mayonnaise as a condiment for burgers. Top the burger with this mayo, and add some romaine lettuce, it’s like eating Caesar Salad on a hamburger. It’s pretty yummy.
This recipe is super easy to make but you do need a small food processor. If you don’t have a food processor, an immersion blender or regular blender would probably work too. This recipe calls for avocado mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic, anchovies (or capers), lemon juice, parmasean (or nutritional yeast), black pepper. Whip it up in a minute and your burger is elevated to restaurant status. I’ll share my gluten free hamburger bun recipe soon!
Gluten free, no sugar, low carb, with dairy free option.
